Attached please find an official notice from the Election Supervisor regarding the upcoming General President Candidates Forum.  As soon as possible, but in no event later than seven (7) days from the date that you received this email, a copy of the notice should be posted on all Local Union, System Federation or General Committee (from here on “Local Union”) bulletin boards, webpages and any other method regularly used by your Local Union to communicate with members.  The notice shall be posted or transmitted on Office of the Election Supervisor letterhead just as it is being transmitted to you.  You are required to maintain the posting through August 31, 2016.

Within three (3) days of such posting, you should provide a declaration to the Election Supervisor attesting to the fact the notice has been posted on all Local Union bulletin boards and describing any other method of communication used.  A sample declaration (Election Supervisor’s Form 3) is available on the Election Supervisor’s website, www.ibtvote.org, under “Official Forms” for your use.
