Attached [in following links] please find two notices for posting from the Election Supervisor, the Notice of Election and a second Notice Regarding the IBT Officer Candidate Forum.  As soon as possible, but in no event later than seven (7) days from the date that you received this email, a copy of these notices should be posted on all Local Union, System Federation or General Committee (from here on “Local Union”) bulletin boards, webpages and any other method regularly used by your Local Union to communicate with members.  The notice shall be posted or transmitted on Office of the Election Supervisor letterhead just as it is being transmitted to you.  You are required to maintain these postings through November 14, 2016.

 

For Local Unions that require posting in Spanish or French, translated version of the notices are also attached.

 

Within three (3) days of these postings, you should provide a declaration to the Election Supervisor attesting to the fact the notices have been posted on all Local Union bulletin boards and describing any other method of communication used.  A sample declaration (Election Supervisor’s Form 3) is available on the Election Supervisor’s website, www.ibtvote.org, under “Official Forms” for your use.
